About Us
Blouberg Rotary youth service committee is the youth wing of Rotary club of Blouberg. It consists of of 1 Early act club, 7 interact clubs and 2 Rotaract clubs, which work together closely. The committee aims to empower its members to develop leadership skills and create a positive and lasting change in themselves and their local communities. It also assist youth to be part of a positive opportunity of acquiring an increased awareness and knowledge about their communities.

Early Act
The Early act club is made up of elementary school kids from ages 5 to 13. Early act encourages young minds to take part in service projects which will be of benefit to their local school and communities. Early Act teaches respect, empathy, caring, compassion, responsibility, leadership, friendship, and teamwork. Our early club has planned and successfully carried out a Beach clean-up, they have also packed over 100 charismas boxes and have collected soup items for the underprivileged. The latest early act project is collecting items to make care packs for the kids at Victoria Hospital.
Interact
Interact is a service club for young people mainly high school students ages 12-18. Interact clubs gives an amazing opportunity for young people to unite with like minded people, and create an opportunity for members to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. We currently have 7 interact clubs, and they are socially and culturally diverse, with an amazing passion for service. The clubs have tirelessly and continuously planed and successfully carried out several service projects. Our interact clubs have participated in project services such as Polio and Breast Cancer Awareness, beach clean-up, several fundraisers and other interesting projects. Our Interactors also participate in Rotary youth exchange programme and constantly take part in leadership development camps such as RYLA to enhance their leadership skill and to also have the chance to interact with other interactors and Rotaractors across the World.

Rotaract
Rotaract is a global organisation that empowers students and young professionals ages 18 and older to create positive change in their local communities and around the world. We currently have 2 Rotaract clubs and they are busy with service projects like soup kitchen, distribution of sanitary pads to high schools, End Polio awareness, sandwich drive and many other community service projects. The Rotaract clubs play a key role in planning joint projects with our youth clubs.
