On Sunday the 24th of October 2021, in commemoration of World Polio day, we decided to
partake by creating an awareness in our neighborhood mall. In partnership with the Rotaract
district 9350 and Atlantis Rotaract club, we displayed our banners, by permission, and had
club members come and hand out pamphlets and engage with people, educating them about
Polio. These Banners and Pamphlets had details on what Polio is, how it’s spread, ways of
prevention, and Rotary’s involvement in Polio eradication. This was a very successful day
and thanks to TableBay Mall for allowing us to showcase, as well as Atlantis Rotaract for
supporting us on the day.
